UK electrolyte labels, compared
Compare the exact flavour, country and serving size before comparing the numbers. Six products, with source limitations shown beside the figures.
A useful electrolyte comparison starts with the same measurement basis: the named product and flavour, its serving size, and whether a figure describes one serving or one litre. Higher numbers alone do not establish which product is suitable for you.
- Some sources below are US pages; they do not verify a UK pack.
- A blank or unverified figure does not mean zero.
- Lula sells one of the products compared. This is our own source review, not independent testing.
Six products, with the evidence beside them
These are manufacturer statements checked on 25 October 2026. We have not bought and tested every pack. The sources cover different markets; a brand name alone is not enough to establish that two formulations are identical.
| Product | Source market / pack | Serving basis | Sodium per serving | Sugars | Limits and other figures | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lula Natural Peach | GB · 130 g jar / 20 servings | 6.5 g scoop | Not included pending label reconciliation | Not included pending label reconciliation | Our existing pack and website figures require reconciliation. No numerical composition ranking is made. | Current product and purchase options |
| LMNT Citrus Salt | US source · 30 sticks | 1 stick | 1,000 mg | Numeric sugars panel not verified here | Potassium 200 mg; magnesium 60 mg per stick. UK pack and delivered price not established. | Maker product page |
| Puresport Ultra Electrolytes Citrus Salt | GB · 30 sachets | 1 sachet | 1,000 mg | Numeric sugars value not verified here | Potassium 250 mg; magnesium 100 mg; calcium 50 mg per sachet. Availability needs checking. | Maker product page |
| Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier Lemon Lime | English carton information on UK site · 16 sticks | 16 g stick in 500 ml | Not used in the comparison: language versions conflict | Not separately stated in the captured information | English Lemon Lime text lists 570 mg sodium; Dutch Lemon Lime text lists 500 mg. The 530 mg figure is for Passion Fruit. Verify the actual GB carton before comparing. Carbohydrate is not the same as sugars. | Maker carton information |
| Precision Fuel & Hydration PH 1000 drink mix | GB · 8 packets | 20 g packet in 500 ml | 500 mg, calculated | 16 g per packet | Maker states 1,000 mg sodium per litre: 1,000 × 0.5 L = 500 mg per prepared packet. Its per-litre mineral figures must not be copied as per-packet values. | Maker UK product page |
| Nuun Sport Orange | US source · 10 tablets | 5 g tablet in 16 US fl oz | 300 mg | 1 g per tablet | Potassium 150 mg; magnesium 25 mg; calcium 13 mg per tablet. UK pack equivalence has not been verified. | Maker product page |
Missing or conflicting figures are left unresolved. Check the exact pack supplied to you. This table does not rank effectiveness or recommend a sodium intake.
Five checks before you buy
- Exact product. Match flavour, country, format and pack size.
- Serving. Note the grams, sticks or tablets and the preparation instructions.
- Nutrition. Compare per serving with per serving. Read sugars separately from carbohydrate, and salt separately from sodium.
- Ingredients and suitability. Check sweeteners, allergens, warnings and any dietary restrictions against the supplied pack.
- Purchase terms. Compare the total payable, delivery, serving count and any recurring commitment. A foreign list price is not a UK delivered price.
How the comparison was checked
We recorded the exact source pages, their stated market and serving basis. Directly stated figures are distinguished from calculations. We do not turn an ingredient list into a nutrition measurement or a front-of-pack sugar claim into a numeric zero.
For PH 1000, the per-serving calculation uses the maker’s 500 ml preparation instruction and 1,000 mg sodium per litre. For the conflicting carton information, we show the disagreement instead of selecting the more convenient number.
Prices and availability can change independently of composition. This table deliberately avoids a cheapest-product ranking because comparable UK delivery totals were not checked.
What this evidence can and cannot tell you
The sources support comparisons of stated ingredients, formats and selected quantities. They do not establish that one finished product performs better, tastes better or is suitable for every person. We have not conducted a head-to-head trial or blind taste test.
Our own product is held to the same standard: its disputed composition figures are excluded until the label records agree.
Help keep this comparison accurate
If a supplied pack differs from the linked information, email hello@lulahealth.co.uk with the exact product, flavour, country, a clear label photo and its batch or best-before details. We will check the discrepancy before changing a row.
The date above describes this source check. It is not a promise that every pack or future formulation matches it.
Good to know
Questions, answered
What is the best electrolyte drink in the UK?
This table cannot establish a universal best. It helps compare stated composition, serving basis and formats; suitability depends on the exact product and your needs.
Does PH 1000 contain 1,000 mg sodium per packet?
The checked UK drink-mix source states 1,000 mg per litre and one packet in 500 ml. That calculates to 500 mg per prepared packet. Check the format: packets and tablets are different products.
Does an unverified sugars figure mean sugar-free?
No. Missing information is not zero. Read the nutrition panel and ingredient list on the exact pack.
Can I compare a US label with a UK label?
Only with the market difference made explicit. A matching brand or flavour does not establish that formulations, serving instructions or labelling are identical.
Where are these figures from?
The manufacturer pages linked in each row, checked on 25 October 2026. Figures are manufacturer statements, with the PH 1000 sodium conversion explicitly calculated.
Why are Lula’s composition figures missing?
The available label and website records need reconciliation. We have excluded those figures from this comparison while that is resolved.
Do you sell the other brands?
No. Lula sells only Lula. Other brand names are used only to identify the products compared, and Lula is not affiliated with them.
